For best results use the D Lash Glasgow tanning mitt for application. The velvet mitt ensures the tan is spread evenly and streak free. For your hands and face, the D Lash tanning brush is great.
D Lash Tan develops over 4-6 hours, 1 coat for this length of time is perfect for a medium tan, for it to be even darker, I recommend 2 coats and leaving it on overnight.
Dancers, I recommend overnight.
To prolong your tan you can continue to moisturise as normal, and after showering, pat yourself dry to ensure you dont drag the tan. The same as you would do after getting a Spray Tan.
D Lash tan formulas are designed to be long lasting and transfer resistant once fully developed and rinsed. But in certain situations such as intense competitions/workouts, hot weather, or high-humidity environments a small amount of colour transfer may occur, especially onto lightly coloured fabrics. This is most likely if you’re wearing tight or light coloured clothing that rubs against the skin or if you are heavily sweating.
How to Minimise Transfer:
- Always allow your tan to develop fully before rinsing
- Pat skin dry after showering instead of rubbing
- Choose loose, dark clothing during and after application
- Avoid heavy sweating for the first 6–8 hours after application
Any slight transfer is typically the bronzer and will wash out of most fabrics. Be wary of light coloured metallic & lycra materials
