D Lash Original Self Tanning Mousse is formulated with 14% DHA, our premium self tan mousse gives you a beautiful, natural looking bronze but it is very easily buildable for a darker finish. This is so popular because it alows you to customise your tan to your desired depth of colour. Whether you’re looking for a subtle, everyday glow or a deep, dark tan for a dance comp or special occasion, D Lash offers the flexibility to achieve your perfect shade.

How to Apply

I recommend applying your tan using the D Lash Tanning Mitt which is designed to distribute the tan evenly for a smooth, streak free finish. For more precise application to the hands and face I recommend the D Lash Tanning Brush.

Our tanning mousse develops over 4–8hours allowing you to customise the intensity of your tan.

• Medium Tan: Apply one even layer and allow to develop for 4–6 hours before rinsing.
• Darker Tan: Apply two layers and leave to develop overnight for a richer, more intense colour.
• Competition & Dance Tan: For dancers and performers looking for a deeper stage ready bronze, we recommend applying two layers and allowing the tan to develop overnight before rinsing the following morning and reapplying another layer. 

Tan Maintenance & Aftercare

To maintain your beautifully bronzed glow for longer, moisturise your skin regularly to keep it hydrated.

After showering, gently pat your skin dry with a towel rather than rubbing.

Colour Transfer Information

D Lash tanning formulas are designed to be long lasting and transfer resistant once fully developed and rinsed. However during intense physical activity, competitions, hot weather or periods of excessive sweating, a small amount of colour transfer may occur, particularly when wearing tight fitting or light coloured clothing.

To minimise colour transfer:

• Allow your tan to develop fully before rinsing.
• Gently pat your skin dry after showering.
• Wear loose fitting, dark clothing during and immediately after application.
• Avoid excessive sweating for the first 6–8 hours after applying your tan.
• Take extra care when wearing light coloured fabrics, particularly metallic and Lycra materials.

Any minor transfer is typically caused by residual bronzer and can usually be washed out of most fabrics. Extra caution is recommended with delicate or light coloured materials.
